Hiking - Akaka Falls
This beautiful self-guided 0.4-mile loop meanders through lush tropical vegetation to scenic vista points overlooking Kahuna Falls and the free-falling Akaka Falls, which plunges 442 feet into a gorge.

Mauna Kea Observatories
Hawaii is Earth's connecting point to the rest of the Universe.  The summit of Mauna Kea on the Island of Hawaii hosts the world's largest astronomical observatory, with telescopes operated by astronomers from eleven countries.
Summit Tours are held on Sat and Sun from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
Stargazing Programs are held nightly from 6:00 to 10:00 PM

Thurston Lava Tube
Thurston Lava Tube is located in Volcano National Park on Big Island, Hawai'i. It is the only show cave amongst the numerous lava tubes on the Hawai'ian islands. It is one of numerous sights of the Park, and like the other sights it can be visited all day without restrictions on a self guided tour.

Kazamura Lava Tube
The Kazamura Lava Tubes are the longest and deepest system in the world. Carved out between 500 and 700 years ago, these spacious caves, standing some 80 feet high and 100 feet wide in places, are covered in colorful flow stone, stalactites and stalagmites. Tours offered by "Kilauea Caverns of Fire" by appointment, 15 people maximum and participants must be at least 5 years of age.

Horseback - Parker Ranch
Visitors now have a rare opportunity to explore areas of the approximately 150,000-acre working ranch through rolling green hillsides with majestic Mauna Kea as a backdrop. Seahorse Farm
Ocean Rider Seahorse Ranch in Kona, has been breeding live sea horses for pets since 1998. They are now offering interactive, personable and educational magical sea horse tours of their 3 acre farm!
Tour times are Mon-Fri at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.  Rerservations are required as space is limited.

Atlantis Submarine Tour
With Atlantis submarine Tours, very dive is unique and you never know what you will see... beautiful, vibrant reef fish, eels, lobster... maybe even a turtle or a reef shark!
Your journey begins with a 10-15 minute scenic boat ride out to the dive site, followed by the submarine dive, which is approximately 35 minutes in length. Your expert narrator will inform you of everything from the formation of the Hawaiian Islands to many species of marine life unique to the Hawaiian waters.
